Gay Rights after Gay Marriage

Raytheon Amphitheater 7 p.m.

In June of this year, the Supreme Court ruled decisively in two cases pertaining to same-sex marriage. Now is the time for thoughtful and critical reflection on such questions as what developments were the courts responding to, and is marriage equality one step or the final step for gay rights activism. This timely panel moderated by Professor of Law Margaret Burnham and with panelists Roderick L. Ireland, Mary Bonauto, and Suzanna Walters, features speakers who have been closely involved in the matters of gay marriage as judge, litigator, and commentator.
