The Graduate Office at CSSH is available to assist admitted students. The information in the links below will help new graduate students prepare for their studies at Northeastern and answer questions related to topics such as billing, housing, and required forms.
A checklist for new students to print and follow to ensure they have completed all the necessary steps to enroll at Northeastern.
Instructions on how to create an account.
1. In your browser, enter the URL myNEU.neu.edu
2. Click on “How do I get a myNEU username and password?”
3. Read the computer and network policy, and accept the terms to continue.
4. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number or international/PKID (found at the bottom of your admission letter).
5. International students with a permanent address outside of the US, please use the ZIP/postal code 02115.
6. Choose a password. Remember this password, and do not share it with anyone.
7. Provide a challenge question and an answer to that question.

On-campus graduate housing is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Off-Campus Student Services provides advocacy for students’ off-campus needs, off-campus housing support, resources to assist students in their search for off-campus housing, and educational and social programs.
Massachusetts state law requires all students to submit a health report form to the University before beginning their studies. This report must include documentation of a physical exam within the last 12 months, documentation of a tuberculosis test within the last 10 years, and proof of immunity to tetanus, diphtheria, measles, mumps, and rubella.
Please download the form from the University Health and Counseling Services’ website. The form must be returned no later than 30 days prior to the start of classes.
Health Services will block all students who do not submit the form from registering for their second semester at Northeastern. Any questions concerning the form should be directed to University Health and Counseling Services at:
Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA)
The Insurance and Referral Coordinators will be of assistance in the MLOA process and in finding community referrals upon return from MLOA if needed. They can be reached at 617.373.2772, option #5.
All admitted international students complete an I-20 Request online form after they have officially confirmed. An email will be sent by the Graduate Office with instructions on how to complete the request.
Students who do not need a Certificate of Eligibility, please complete the I-20 Request form noting which visa type you are currently hold.
The Registrar’s Office lists tuition cost, fees, information about refund policies, withdrawals, and deadlines to which students must adhere. Payment plan options may also be found there.
The Student Financial Services Office provides information on billing policies and procedures, as well as contact information for financial aid counselors who can assist students with questions and concerns. Students can visit the Counselor Lookup web page to find the financial aid counselor assigned to them.
