Miss Anne in Harlem (HarperCollins, 2013; paperback publication August 2014), a New York Times Notable Book, won the Julia Ward Howe Book Award from the Boston Authors Club, was selected by NPR as one of the titles on its “Best Books of 2013″ list, and was chosen by Publishers’ Weekly as one of the “10 Best” books of the year.
